Welcome to the community service program at St. Austin’s Academy – the one place that gets students outside of school, into something that they are passionate about, with other people they have fun – all while embracing the school’s dedication to community service.

At some point during their time at St. Austin’s Academy, 90% of students choose to volunteer through one or more of our program’s outreach projects. You choose how involved you want to be: options vary from one-day events to weekly projects to several-week-long trips in Kenya. Projects are running every day of the week, so there is always something that will fit with your other extracurricular and athletic interests.

The Community Service Office is made up of three faculty members, 25 student leaders and coordinators, and and student participants – but the office itself is just the beginning. Thanks to St. Austin’s Academy’s relationships with community partners in the surrounding area, participants regularly have the opportunity to volunteer in our neighborhood and the greater Nairobi area, getting off campus and meeting people from outside the St. Austin’s Academy community.
