Our School – St. Austin's Academy

Since its establishment in 1970, St. Austin’s Academy has been at the forefront of providing excellent education in Kenya. The Academy’s Director of Education, a visionary African, founded the institution with the aim of eradicating discriminatory educational practices and delivering an all-encompassing curriculum.

The Academy has maintained this tradition and has developed a curriculum that centres on values, equipping students with the necessary skills to excel in the present-day world. We invite you to join us on this journey towards academic excellence and holistic student development.

The Academy consists of four main areas:

Pre-Primary (Nursery and Kindergarten)
Primary (Years 1 – 6)
Lower Secondary (Years 7 – 9)
Upper Secondary (Years 10 – 13).

St. Austin’s Academy is situated in the beautiful neighbourhood of Lavington, which is widely considered one of the best residential areas in Nairobi. At our school, students are provided with an outstanding education that follows the highly respected Cambridge curriculum.

Our History

Since its inception, St. Austin’s Academy has emphasized the highest standards in intellectual growth, in the development of social and moral values and in preparing students for international education and future careers. The Academy is proud to be at the forefront of Kenyan education today.

Our outstanding teaching faculty provides a stimulating delivery of our curriculum as well as a caring and friendly atmosphere to support the learning process. The academic programme is based on the Cambridge Curriculum. Upper Secondary students sit IGCSE, AS and A-Level examinations and all our students go on to university, the majority overseas.
