Applying to St. Austin’s Academy

Should you have any questions about St. Austin’s Academy, or wish to register your child, please contact the Academy during office hours, Monday – Friday 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. or Saturdays 8.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.

To arrange a time to see either the Principal or the head teachers. Appointments may also be made outside the above office hours by arrangement.

STEP ONE

Interview

You and your child will be interviewed by the Principal and/or the relevant staff member and his/her level will be assessed. With younger children we often advise that s/he spend a day or a half-day with the probable year group so as to have a better idea as to whether s/he will be appropriately placed. At this time, should you wish to proceed, you should complete the “Acceptance Form” and pay the Registration Fee.

STEP TWO

Waiting List

Payment of the Registration Fee puts your child’s name on the Waiting List for that year group. When a vacancy arises, you will be contacted in order of your seniority on the list and offered the place, subject to a time constraint.

STEP THREE

Enrollment

Should you accept the offer of a place, payment of the tuition fees guarantees the enrollment of your child in his/her year group. At this time, your child will be formally accepted as a student at St. Austin’s Academy.
