St Austin’s Academy students presented their First Aid skills to the Head of State on the 29th of May 2022.
St John Ambulance is a club that is offered in our junior school and a number of our students participate in it and move on to senior school with relevant life skills.
This is a token gesture but is a great start to empowering more children with these potentially life-saving skills. First aid training provides children with a vital knowledge base for dealing with any medical emergencies they may be faced with.
With this in mind, our children effortlessly represented us in State House.
Prompt, appropriate first aid saves lives and the more people that are properly empowered with these skills the better. We very much look forward to more children and teenagers being first aid training in the future.
